The D2C Academy
The Dare 2 Command Academy is a self-directed incident command development program designed to strengthen decision-making, risk management, and command presence across all hazards. Through structured learning, realistic scenarios, and practical application tools, the program helps officers build the competence and confidence needed to lead complex incidents safely and effectively.
The Dare 2 Command Academy includes eight structured learning modules, six practical incident command scenarios, knowledge checks, and supporting resources designed to reinforce Effective Command principles. Learners develop Incident Action Plans, identify hazards and risks, establish strategic priorities, and practice command decision-making across a range of incident types. The program provides a structured, competency-based approach to building confidence, consistency, and practical incident command capability.
