Enrollment in the Dare 2 Command Academy includes:

Formal Incident Command Skills Assessment

Once you have completed the course and theory components, you can book a formal Incident Command assessment using the Effective Command Toolkit. During this assessment, you will complete two scenarios with our team, who will evaluate your performance and decision-making abilities in the role of Incident Commander.

You will receive written feedback following the assessment, which you can use to guide your continued development and strengthen your Incident Command skills.

This can be done virtually or in person at additional cost, upon request.

Effective Command Toolkit

Effective Command™ is a series of training and assessment tools, developed for the International Fire Service domain. They are aligned to National and International occupational frameworks and endorsed by awarding bodies and academic institutions

The Training Portal contains a library of scenario videos which can be used for self-study or instructor led sessions. They present an incident to the students embedded within a video from dispatch to transfer of command. The scenario allows the student to explore risk assessment, resourcing, tactics, comms and command through questions asked and situations presented.

Instructional videos are available to guide users through the portal’s features. For additional support, our dedicated team is ready to assist.

New scenarios are added frequently, ensuring the portal remains current, relevant, and responsive to evolving operational needs.
